“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3
This year has been an exciting year in the Jr. Church Ministry! It is encouraging to see the children come week after week and learn about the wondrous truths of God’s Word. We continue to see God’s work in the lives of these children year after year.
October was a busy month for our group as we held a special Jr. Church Service for Pastor and Donna McNally. The children quoted scriptures and sang some special numbers to them followed by light refreshments. At the end of our service, the children presented several cards they had made in appreciation for the McNally’s service.
The children were excited to have the Fall Festival in November. We had a beautiful Fall Day for it with Fall themed games and hayrides. There were over 40 in attendance that enjoyed these fun activities and especially the Scavenger Hunt path in the woods. Throughout the year, several of our children followed the Lord in believer’s Baptism. What a blessing to see so many young ones continue to follow Christ in this important step of obedience.
The children sang a few specials during this year’s Christmas Program. They did a great job and were a blessing to hear and see all the hard work they put into it! Throughout the year several men preached for our Jr. Church children this year. The children enjoyed hearing and seeing some of these important truths from God’s Word.
In the summertime, many of our Jr. Church children attended Camp Northfield for a week of fun, preaching, fellowship, and Spiritual enrichment. Several of our students have made important spiritual decisions while attending these weeks at Camp. Vacation Bible School is another enjoyable week that our children love attending!
A special Thank You to all the bus and van workers who are so faithful in picking up and dropping off these children on a weekly basis. It is encouraging to see the children who are so faithful. So many children have come to know the Lord through this Bus Ministry and we are so very thankful to see them continue to grow in the Lord.
We are extremely thankful to all our teachers and workers who have been so faithful in teaching and serving each week in the Jr. Church hour.
